Steve Coll
Today I attended the Steve Coll lecture and I came up with the question, can amateur journalists be an adequate substitute for professional journalists? Now before anyone tries to answer just know that there is no right or wrong answer. I personally believe that in today's day and age with all new technological devices and information that amateur journalists can be an appropriate, adequate substitute for professional journalists.

My answer to your question is yes an amateur journalist can be a professional. They have to have the right skills and know what it is that they are specifically looking for. Anyone can start anything. All it takes is just one person and something might just change.
